I just want to publicly thank Scott Labombard @labomb for his dedication to recovering the Miner 2049er source code for us.

Re: Another Retro Project - the Osborne 1

I showed it to my grandchildren, and they noted the screen had less real estate than their phones. When I told them it wasn't colour, they laughed, and then asked where the mouse was. Then I laughed.

John Shortt was cleaning out his garage, and offered me an Osborne 1, so I gladly took it, but I'll have to put it off as a project until next year. So many NABU projects not finished yet:

Re: Flaky or non-responsive keys

Thanks for this. I have a few bad keys, so I'll need to try things to fix them.

Re: Howdy, and is there a NABU Discord server?

There is a discord. I think I got the address from the vcf forums. I usually visit once a day to see if anything interesting occurred.

The last link I saw for it was: https://discord.com/invite/NgxTXvND2A

As it stands, I write about 10-20 pages of thoughts down before every video, just so that I can sound coherent. At some point there might be enough material for a b...

Re: Article on NABU at VICE Motherboard

Took me a lot not to reply to that comment re: selling units. If only they knew how long it took me to get James on the line! LOL. Anyway, I just wanted to thank you all for giving me a chance to talk about this community. This has been one of my favorite stories ever. Please keep in touch, and I’l...
