Re: Retronet and Linux
OK making progress. Instead of pointing Linux Mame to where the Windows Mame folders are, I've been copying the files over to where Linux Mame expects them to be. Why setting the folders to a different location doesn't work, I don't know. Anyhow, Nabu boots, but doesn't see the Internet Adapter. At ...

Re: Retronet and Linux
Just to be clear. I have always been running the Internet Adapter for Linux. It's only been the mame app for WIndows that I've been using under wine since it has Nabu built right into it. So yesterday, I installed Mame for Linux (no compiling necessary). Nabu appears in the listing of options, but y...

Re: Retronet and Linux
DJ. So, that means I have to compile from the source for the download? I know I've used Mame before on Linux, so it would seem to me that all I need to do is copy some files from the Windows download for Nabu Mame and they would work under Linux?

Retronet and Linux
So I'm running the Emulator on Linux under wine. I have the Internet Adapter running as well and enabled the Retronet telnet server. Regardless, as many times as I've run cpmdrive x, nothing is ever created. The Nabu emulator will sit there "extracting the D drive" but nothing happens. I c...

cpmdrive not working on linux
So I'm running the Emulator on Linux under wine. Of course I have the Internet connector running. I've also enabled the Retronet telnet server in the Internet connector. Regardless, as many times as I've run cpmdrive x, nothing is ever created. The Nabu emulator will sit there "extracting the D...

Oregon Trail basic game file
Just edited the BAS version of Oregon trail to work on the NABU under CPM. I didn't see Oregon trail anywhere, so hopefully I'm not posting something that's already there.

Re: Cloud CPM F18a 80-Column
Ok, got my F18a hardware from arcadeshop. I know somewhere I saw pics of it installed, but can't find any. Installed it the way I think I recalled seeing, but when I turned the Nabu on there was no output through VGA. Help?

Re: dsk files and games
I've done the d folder solution for myself. That's easy. I was just wondering how to share games that work with others.
I don't see anything about dsk files anywhere.

dsk files and games
I noticed in one of DJ's vids that he had a dsk file in his IA folder. So is there a way to run a dsk file on the NABU?
Next question is: if I discover a game or program that isn't on any of the drives, how do I submit it for inclusion?

Re: Notes on CPM
You know I've been to the CPM page so many times, but never went down through the whole thing. I'm embarrassed......
BTW, you have a pic of Lynx over Telnet. WHAT? HOW? Are you just telnetting on port 80? But then that's not lynx.....
