Not entirely sure where to put this, figured it’s operations-ish, but I’ve asked for a table at VCF Midwest. A couple of us were planning on taking our RC2014 and MSX machines there, and it seems only fitting to add the Z80 based NABU. Seemed like a good chance to let others see and use a NABU, and ...

Colors
Where/how does Cloud CP/M store the custom colors? I somehow set it to black on both fore and back. Needless to say, it’s not great. Any way to default them back without being able to see anything?

New NABUer from Chicagoland
Long time computer user, new to the NABU. Saw a video from DJ a while back where he mentioned the family he had at the company, something I can totally relate to. Dad was an EE, worked for TI, Arrow and MOSTEK then decided he’d design, build and sell a Z80 based luggable, Micro Source, Inc, M6000P, ...

Re: Dead fan
The NABU fan runs off mains power, and doesn't involve the PSU. The two things to check are the fuse (below the power switch) and the power switch itself. Re: Dead fan
By Jove, that did it, +1 for the howto. So much reading to do, it really did seem like a dead fan. It’s a lot quieter than I expected. Thanks.

Well, if it’s that quiet, color me impressed. Haven’t had a chance to read read that over yet but will. Printing some of the other docs atm.

Re: Dead fan
I can manually spin it, and I can feel where the other issues is likely happening, but the motor isn’t even attempting to move.

Dead fan
Visually inspected the NABU inside, all seemed well, it looked like I had the “fan stuck” issue but … it doesn’t spin, at all. Is there a known modern replacement for these? I’ll have to check the power supply first and make sure there’s voltage, but if there is, what’s a replacement look like?
