I've just uploaded the most recent version of the how-to guide (see first post in this thread), which now includes a 'printer cable' section.

I probably won't be making any major changes in the short term as I shall be busy with other things for the next few weeks. That is, unless anyone can think of anything significant that's worth adding in the short term.
