Hello comrade NABUers,

Trying to get the NABU IA running on my ARM MacBook with MacOS Ventura 13.3.1 and it continues to fail even with Gatekeeper disabled:

So I was going to ask what I was doing wrong. I then realised I should also check console logs - found this:

ASP: Security policy would not allow process: 1321, /Applications/NABU/NABU-Internet-Adapter-84

But checking in Preferences -> Security & Privacy shows everything should be allowed ... and I've already disabled Gatekeeper ... ?

let us know what you discover. Seems different macs have different security settings.

I read that Apple made some big changes to Gatekeeper in Ventura, like it checks for signing & changes every time it executes, rather than just initially.

But still ... it's supposed to be disabled. Maybe it's been quarantined because I didn't disable it properly the first time ... ? Will check that.

I've also got a Mac mini server running 10.15 so I'll give that a go ... assuming I'll have more luck!

I have a code cert for signing binaries. Which I do for the windows installer. But I haven’t looked into signing a Mac binary. I should do that.

I don't mess with disabling any security settings, I just try to run it once, and after it fails there's an "Open anyway" option in the Privacy and Security preferences.
