NABU at SEA-CCC

Post by twenex »

The "Travelling NABU" made an appearance at the Seattle Commodore Computer Club last night. (May I crash your party?).
And had a seat of royalty next to the fabled MEGA-65.

Rumor had it that there was an Atari 130XE relegated to an annex room, but did get some attention until it was announced that it
was being "shutdown" for the night.

Cloud CP/M, Production Dave's INVADERS and the MSXROM secret weapon (that alone is one reason to just get a NABU) were demonstrated.
What boggled me is that Cloud CP/M worked locally before even getting the Internet Adaptor connected to the Internet. That was freaking
amazing that the NABU booted up within a few minutes of set up and was in CP/M. Majick.

Love these posts! Keep them coming. I suspect there’s still many many people who have yet to experience nabu. It’s great that you’ve become our traveling salesman hahaha

This is your last chance
After this, there is no turning back

You take the blue gnome
The story ends
You wake up in your bed and believe what you want to believe

You take the red gnome
You stay in NABU land
and I show you how deep the rabbithole goes.

My wife Lisa made them years ago. Most, in a veritable rainbow of coloured hats, have been sold off in pottery sales. I liberated those dudes when they came back from a sale.

Gnomatter where you go, there you are.

NABU NABU 2, where are you?

has had touch up paint applied to it! I certainly didn't do it. I guess the refurb dudes had a bucket of NABU coloured paint. I just noticed that today.
