I thought my last option to get Internet Adapter running would be to boot Linux on USB and use the Linux version - but no, I'm still screwed:

Is the Pi 0 W able to get signal in there? I know there was concerns about that. Looks really nice though! I wish I could get my hands on some cheap Pi 0 W's again here.

Oh that’s good to hear. I usually wouldn’t suggest to revive such an old hardware. But ever since I released the internet adapter to the retro world, I’ve been bombarded with ppl complaining it doesn’t work on windows xp. Or some weird Linux distro that no one else has heard of. Or Beos. Or Mac ...

I tried following that thread but they have A.D.D. lol. Looks like it ended with a reference to another bug ID. Maybe check that and see what progress or work around. It seems to only affect serial.io from what I understand. So I’m sure it’s need fixed by now. Well, hoping it has been ...

I tested on the oldest Pi i could find in my collection and it worked on the Pi 2 Model B Rev 1.1. I used the Linux 32 ARM internet adapter.

The Raspberry Pi pre 2 (eg, 1 or just B or whatever) won't run the Internet Adapters I've tried so far. Maybe nabud, I'm not sure. The other ones all require .NET core which doesn't exist for the processor in the old RPi's. I have a B+ serving up a BBS & some other low-resource stuff that I would ...
