Re: USR-TCP232-306 to NABU Wiring
Yes, that looks correct - and matches Table 3.1 on page 5 of the 'Unofficial Howto' guide viewtopic.php?t=67

Re: RS-422 to Ethernet
I'm guessing the easiest way will be to install a virtual com port driver (perhaps http://www.pusr.com/support/download/usr-vcom-setup-software.html ) and to then use whatever com port that exposes in DJs Internet Adapter. It'll be interesting to see if/how this works given that NABU RS-422 seems a ...

Re: NABU How-To & Repair Guide
I've just uploaded the most recent version of the how-to guide (see first post in this thread), which now includes a 'printer cable' section. I probably won't be making any major changes in the short term as I shall be busy with other things for the next few weeks. That is, unless anyone can think o...

Re: Dead fan
The NABU fan runs off mains power, and doesn't involve the PSU. The two things to check are the fuse (below the power switch) and the power switch itself. Assuming these are both ok, you may indeed have a dead fan. Any 120V 80mm x 25mm fan should work as a direct replacement. You could also opt for ...

Re: Stuck fan repair / replacement
While I've actually replaced the NABU fan (since it won't work with 230V mains power), I did spend some time adjusting the screws on the original fan to see if it can actually be done. In my experience it took several(!) goes undoing and retightening the screws before I had it turning freely - hence...

Re: Unofficial NABU How-To Guide
What's the plan to keep this up to date, though? Wouldn't having this in a wiki or something make more sense than a PDF? The LaTeX sources for the document are in github. Because LaTeX is essentially 'plain-text' it is simple to work with and easy to version, etc. And depending on your toolchain yo...

Re: Unofficial NABU How-To Guide
Updated version, which emphasises the need for twisted-pair RS-422 cable, attached.
Not sure how to make a forum post 'sticky' - perhaps the document could be included in the 'quiver' on the website instead?
