The Grunt Press

Post by LeoBinkowski »

I've decided to release the Grunt Presses here, one a day. Here is today's very first available one, of the old Grunt Presses where the newly hired part-timers, including me, make our first appearance in print:

January 6 1983 Issue:

I mention I'm working on PAC-MAN, Todd MacNaught starts on the Logo project, and Todd and Ken try to debug our NABU 1100 Development environment that uses MCP2, a version of CPM that also contains a portion of NABU IOS.

The last of the copies I have of the Grunt Presses I personally edited. There were other editions, but they are lost in time.

In this issue:

- Barbara Crook, NABU media nemesis
- The TURTLE CLUB, NABU's own cable access show! (I wish I could find some video on it)
- Ian Rae, Gordon Gow
- Chris Wallace and NABU are mentioned in Japan's MSX Magazine
