Slide Show Gallery 1.2b - Did not receive a hello message

When trying to use the RetroNET slideshow I'm getting the error:
Serial: Did not receive a hello message. Got DC. Restarting.
Serial: Did not receive a hello message. Got DC. Restarting.

Over on the Nabu, it's giving me the viewing instructions then says Initializing...
Is this something I've configured wrong? Or maybe something server side?

Your version is outdated. When the software loads, it says "NEW VERSION AVAILABLE". The slideshow requires the new version that's available.
