Considering taking the NABU network adapter I have, taking out the board and designing one that can hold one, or more, 5 Pin DIN connectors and a Pi 4 inside to act as an IA for PC’s.
One issue I have with the Pi Zero inside the PC is that it needs to be on first in order for the PC to boot from (and it’s horribly slow). My thought is to turn the network adapter into a local IA that I can power on first, then connect 5 pin cables to attached machines.
Went looking but haven’t found any technical docs on the network adapter, are there any around? Namely voltages and such coming off the PSU and those circuit designs.
NABU Network Adapter as IA
